    Great gun technically, but could be better handling/aesthetics/operation

    A great gun technically, mechanically and in metal finish, but reminds me of early VW's which had a clunky operation, lack of styling and handling not great. Why have so many options but no traditional walnut stock or hand checkering, why no Stutzen stock? Why not work on lightening it using aluminium alloy and other tough quality materials and lightening the bulbous stock? The loading could have been made easier and there are other mechanisms invested by BSA which could never crush fingers.
    I like it a lot, but could have loved it.

    Pros:
    Powerful, accurate, consistent, low recoil, very well engineered, lovely metal finish, stock fits large male hands

    Cons:
    Handles like HW35, like lead! Slight people struggle with lever. Lever button could be faster. Loading a little fiddly. No Walnut stocks or hand checkering.

    Ordered this item on the Wednesday and was received in the UK on Friday Morning!!! The service was 100% the rifle was very well packaged with no damage to any of the packaging. Very pleased with the rifle am just getting used to it as I'm used to an old 1970's Haenel model 303 break barrel springer. Would recommend any Weihrauch Weapon especially from Krale as the service is superb!!

    A great air rifle from an excellent dealer

    I ordered a HW97K on Monday and received it in Massachusetts the same week on Friday. The rifle was incredibly well packed and unopened by the Customs (sometimes they really mess up the repackaging job), the price w/S&H was super (no VAT!) and the communication with the Krale staff fast and accurate.

    This rifle quite heavy, but easier to shoot and a bit more accurate than a HW95 (less recoil). The woodwork is excellent and the blueing as good as it gets.

    I couldn't be a happier customer.
