  • H&N 5.5 mm HP 30 grain (.218) slugs are meant for use in powerful (PCP) air rifles where they’ll have the advantage of a better accuracy and bigger impact at large distances than conventional diabolo pellets.

    The H&N 5.5 mm HP 30 grain (.218) slugs are based on H&N’s own hollow point bullets. They are suitable for all air rifles of 40 Joules or more, though they’ll perform best in slug barrels. Slugs provide better accuracy and bigger impact at long distance, thanks to a higher ballistic coefficient and more weight than a conventional diabolo pellet.

    My FX Wildcat MK3 sniper likes them very much. Both at lower power and up to speeds of around 260 m/s they grouped extremely well at 50 m. I recommend them.
