This begins at your waist, where many airsoft trousers have stretch material or a Velcro adjustment for a perfect fit. The fit around your waist is crucial, as most airsofters will stuff their pockets with all kinds of stuff and all that extra weight will hang around your hips.
Some airsoft trousers with knee protection have adjustment arrangements at the knees too, making sure the protection won’t shift. Some trousers will let you adjust the knee protection in height, while others can combine this with adjustment for a tight fit around the knees.
Often seen on airsoft trousers are stretch inserts (for instance at the knees). These allow for a comfortable snug fit of the airsoft trousers, while still allowing for a maximum of freedom of movement.
Many times, the answer will be: ‘Always more than it has…’ Whether you want to bring some extra magazines, a torch, protein bars, tissues or papers, fact is that the more pockets you have, the more you will bring with you. Standard pockets, such as the hand pockets, are used for simple things like a tissue or a kill rag. When they can be closed, you might want to carry your keys in these. The rear pockets are often kept empty, as everything in there will give you discomfort when sitting down. The most versatile pockets are the big ones on the thighs. They offer space and can almost always be closed. And the stuff in there, won’t bother you or give you discomfort. Same goes for the pockets on the lower side of the legs.
