  • The Accu-Tac BR-4 G2 bipod is made of light and sturdy billet aluminium and can be attached to the accessory rail of your rifle with a quick release rail mount. No tools needed. The legs are adjustable in length (5 steps with automatic retraction) and can be independently be adjusted in five positions:

    • 90° forward
    • 45° forward
    • Straight down
    • 45° backward
    • 90° backward

    Minimum height of the Accu-Tac BR-4 G2 bipod is 140 mm (5.5 inch) with the legs angled at 45° and maximum height is 210 mm (8.25 inch) with the legs straight down. It’s also possible to rotate the Accu-Tac BR-4 G2 bipod.

    Using my bipods ""on bench"" & ""prone"" I was looking for a bipod which can deliver my three main needed features:
    1. Quick positioning of legs & lenght change combined with sturdy holding its legs position -- fulfilled (Position: just pull the leg aout of its arrestation - move - click back / Lenght: just pull out as far as you need - to retract, just press 1 button, a spring brings the leg back into short again)
    2. Delivering the possibility to move the gun out of 'cant' with a changable resistance -- fulfilled: turn one lever to tighten to full stop or loosen up resistence
    3. Even spending more money I was looking for a quality product as rugged as possible with 'lifetime' warranty from a company listening to their customers needs.

    For example you get 'out of the box' a second pair of rubber feet - because earlier customers tended to screw loose their rubberfeet, when ratteling around their gun - and loosing them.
    Accu-Tec also produces spikes & claw instead of round rubber feet as buyable addition.

    The mechanisme to attach the bipod (in my case on a picatinny):
    After changing the 'gap' to close the 'clamp' (to adapt by turning a nob without tools) to hold on the picatinny tight is also a matter of 1 lever to use!
    I recommend a at leats 2 segments long picatinny-counterpart.
    (the adapter, which came with my weihrauch HW100 BP - is not the best fit)

    So, that's my view on things - hope it's useful for anyone.

    rugged, quality materials used - spareparts (rubberfeet) included
    easy to change positions and lenght of this bipods legs
    really sturdy holding the legs positions & cant changable

    Cons:
    weight / material eventually cold in cold conditions
