Gun is best tuned to around 10.5/11.5 FPE.
Nice power, accuracy, build quality and manageability.

Awesome rifle

Ordered a HW50S .177 on a Friday from the USA. Delivered from Europe on Monday. Amazing. Out of the box the gun blew me away with how solid and well-built it was. Put about 40 rounds through it and started hearing a buzz. Glad I checked as the three main screws that connect the gun to the stock came loose from the spring vibrations. As lots of people on forums have stated. Use blue locktite on the screws. I put another hundred pellets through it zeroing in the irons sights. Mine shot about 4-5 inches to the right at 50 yards so be sure to zero it out from the start. Now I’m shooting about an orange size pattern at 50 yards standing prone as you would hunting. Impressive gun and it’s only going to get better. From what I’ve read they don’t calm down until you put a few hundred rounds through it. It’s a heirloom level gun. Worth every penny.

HW50 S .22 caliber: The air rifle that I wish I had a long time ago.

First of all, I love the HW50 S in .22 caliber.
I have not scoped it yet. I only have been using open sights with cheap Crosman Premier Hollow Point pellets. This rifle is so very accurate, that I'm getting 10 shot groups at 15 yards that will fit under a dime using open sights.
The 50 S fits me perfectly, and when my hand is under the fore-stock, my pointer finger perfectly touches the front screw, making a repeatable hold easily done every shot. The power level is perfect, with the Crosman Premier 14.3 grain pellet, averaging 617FPS=12.09FPE, more than enough power to hunt cottontail rabbits.
It's a shame that most Americans will miss out on this wonderful springer because it doesn't shoot 1000 FPS, that is USA airgun brainwashing for you.
Everything about the HW50s is top quality, the adjustable trigger is the best, adjustable open sights front and rear. An awesome barrel, which I'm guessing is not pellet picky, since I have only tried Crosman Premier Hollow Points. The stock is very beautiful and the bluing on the metal parts is incredibly nice!
Now for the negative:
My first 5 shots were detonations, even fire (???) came out of the barrel. So I had to take apart the brand new Weihrauch, and degrease and de-bure it. I added a little molly grease in the right areas, reassembled it and the detonations were gone.
Packaging:
Could have been better, with the rifle double boxed and bubble wrap placed only on one side of the rifle. The Weihrauch box had a dent, but thankfully the rifle was undamaged.
The good:
Shipping was extremely fast. I ordered late Tuesday afternoon, so the Krale workers were off of work, and my package arrived by Friday evening, that is rocket fast shipping!
Price:
The price is right when shopping at Krale compared to the USA! I saved $100.00 through shopping at Krale. The package+shipping was delivered to eastern South Dakota for a little over $400.00. Can't beat that with a stick!

Krale Netherlands to Hawaii in FOUR days!

Pretty amazing. Read another review from another Hawaii customer and was skeptical. Also leary of ordering outside of the U.S. Ordered a Weihrauch HW50S .22 from Krale because only one authorized dealer had stock but was almost $100 USD more expensive to my door. Most recent airgun purchase from Krale. Kept the total price under the customs amount and received the rifle in what I believe was around 4 days. purchased this HW50s in 5.5mm for short range ratting, rifle arrived with decent trigger setting and smooth cocking cycle. I have a lower powered HW30s and a higher powered a HW95 in 4.5mm, but wanted a springer 12'ish fpe 5.5mm to fill this niche. Did have a hiccup with the rifle of Weihrauch's doing. Rear sight spring loaded adjustable notch wasn't spring loaded and flopped around. Notified Krale and within a few days the replacement rear sight blade assembly was delivered to replace the defective version. Excellent customer service and out of the many orders I have placed with them, this was the first time I had to utilize it.
