The Weihrauch HW30 S is a superior, lightweight and well balanced air rifle. This accurate air rifle has an automatic safety, the famous adjustable "Rekord" match trigger, rubber buttplate and an ambidextrous beech stock. The tunnel front sight comes with interchangeable inserts.

Regarding the popular Weihrauch HW30S:
Rifle's bluing is excellent, good balanced weight of solid steel. Wood finish is a flatter brown and somewhat underwhelming. The finish seems to pick up surface marks fairly easily. I noticed a slight dent in the butt stock, but not sure if it came from shipping or from my first use. Overall, don't be too disappointed if the stain/finish doesn't show the wood color and grain quite as nicely as in the photo. Maybe this will improve with aging, or with rework.
Cocking effort was a little more than expected but breaks in smoothly. Brace the butt well when cocking, and it's not too tiring; I can shoot dozens of shots for a long period.
Within the first hundred shots, all three stock screws came loose and the action started rattling loosely around on the stock. I wasn't quite expecting this on a rifle with reputation for German quality and attention to detail. You can imagine what effect this had on groupings. Twice I've had to retighten them; next I'm going to obtain and apply some Loctite to each screw.
Regarding purchase through Krale:
My order's shipping was delayed 5-6 days. Delivery to US West Coast itself was 2-3 days, given ~$50 UPS Express Saver. Packaging was decent.
Service desk questions were responded to in about 2-3 days. Take time-zones into account if you are in North America.
For US customers: the current ~$235 + $50 shipping price (I was charged $10 by my credit card for international exchange fees, you will want to check), the HW30S from Krale presently is roughly $300 and can be worth it. (Compare about $400 for Beeman R7 on Pyramyd Air and ~$350 for HW30 on AoA). I wasn't charged sales tax through Krale. Factor in that you won't want to ship anything back given the price of international shipping, and that you likely won't have the benefit of warranty service with Krale in the Netherlands.

I purchased the HW30S to complete my collection of the Weihrauch break-barrel springers. I have the HW95L and the HW50S. The HW30S is beautiful shooting little air rifle. Very accurate and the quality is wonderful.

Cocking is a little harder than I thought. I agree with another review that the wood finish is a little lacking, at least in my rifle.
In .22, I saw 460 fps on the crony with 19 g pellets. Still, really fun and a keeper!!!

The bluing, checkering and new stock are all very appealing to me! I'm still breaking her in with open sights. Own 6 Weihrauchs and a R7. Purchased the HW30 from Krale because I liked the looks of the new stock and read so many good reviews for Krale. Ordered on a Sunday night and the rifle arrived in Ohio Wednesday noon! HW30 was normal exceptional quality with one big exception - the laser checkering looks as though the laser ran out of electricity or the operator fell asleep. Very disappointing.

Was seeking light, easy-to-cock, accurate air rifle

I have several other Weihrauch spring air rifles. Their finish quality and use of good materials draws me to them. All have been very accurate. With the HW30S, I wanted a lighter rifle that was easy to cock, yet afforded excellent accuracy. I shoot offhand and so far best 3 shot group is 1/2" at 20 yards, using the factory open sights. This is about as good as I am capable of shooting. About the only negative is the strange design of the stock checkering. The graphics are 'different' and look a little strange, to my taste anyway.
