Wildlife Camera Zeiss Secacam 1

The Zeiss Secacam 1 is a wildlife camera which captures clear images during both day- and nighttime. Thanks to the 4G connection, captured images can be viewed using the app.

Installing the wildlife camera is very user-friendly. Because the camera comes with all necessities included, it can be put to use immediately. A 32 GB SD-card provides internal storage, while a pre-installed multi-roaming SIM card enables connection with mobile phone networks. Batteries are also included and cleverly stowed at the back of the housing. The battery tray allows for quick and easy exchanging of all batteries at once.

When mounting the camera, the test mode can be utilised. This mode can help check whether the camera is properly set up and aligned. Settings can be adjusted using the buttons below the screen, which are accessible when the camera is opened. The 2.4” LCD screen displays menus and the camera view, which helps in setting up the Zeiss Secacam 1 wildlife camera. The settings can also be adjusted remotely, using the free app.

The wildlife camera utilises a motion detector, which switches on the camera. Depending on its settings, the camera then records photos or video. These images can be recorded both during day- and nighttime. Nighttime images are recorded using an infrared flash. These night images are black and white, but clear and detailed. Recorded images are stored in the internal memory, from which they can be exported using the USB-C connection. Alternatively, they can also be downloaded through the app. In order to send the images and utilise all the functionalities of the app, a subscription or pre-paid plan is required.
