My HW97 .177 arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I pulled about 25 patches through the barrel to thoroughly clean out the shipping oil before shooting it. I used Air Arms 7.87g pellets and used a Sports Match DM-70 Dampa scope mount to minimize recoil transfer to my scope. Scope is an SWFA SS 16x.
I set up a target at 27.5 yards. It took 4 shots to 'zero' the scope, and then I put 19 of 20 shots on 1” targets. Shooting off a bag. I had never shot a 'springer' before, only PCP's. I had watched YouTube videos on how to manage spring air rifle recoil, but I was not expecting such excellent results on my 1st shoot.
The HW97 in blue laminate is beautiful and superbly accurate out of the box. The build quality seems excellent. There is very little spring noise and the rifle is quiet - certainly the .177 does not need a moderator. Cocking takes a bit of effort, but is reasonable. The HW97 is well-balanced, but has more heft than my PCP's. Overall, this rifle is actually more fun to shoot than my PCP's, including my HW110ST FAC. There is an elegance to the pure mechanical design and shooting experience. I actually bought it as a wall decoration, but now I may buy another as it is even more fun to shoot than it is to look at!

Im hooked on this rifle. It is very fun to shoot. Its smooth to cock (maybe hard) it takes a strong arm to shoot all day. Its a little heavy but it shoots great. I put a UTG 3-12x44 scope on this HW 97 177 caliber and I can hit a can 70 yards away. Mine shoots H-N 8.64 pellets the best. At 30 and 40 yards its pellet on pellet. Get one you will love it. Krale is great. Answered email fast, I will buy here again !

I can't say enough good things about Krale. I ordered Sunday night and it arrived in Oregon Wednesday, less than 48 hours after shipping. The box took a beating but the stock had no dents.
As far as the rifle goes it's just as good as my 177 97kts. Out of the box I'm getting 708 fps with 14.3 pellets. And that's not with any diesels. Sighted in at 10 yds. It was a breeze, as all the pellets made a single hole off a bag. Only thing that I did was lighten the trigger a touch to make it feel like my other rekord units. And put a factory moderator on it.
All said I will definitely use Krale again. This was my second purchase and just as good!

Was concerned about ordering international but couldn’t be more pleased. Saved hundreds compared to everywhere else and got it in 3 days.
The rifle itself is great. I didn’t have a scope yet so I put an old red dot on it and holy cow! I could produce dime-size groups at 20m with just the red dot.
Cocking effort is a bit higher than I expected and it does tire the arm after a long session. But the long-range accuracy you get in return is worth it.
Seems like the rifle has to “warm up” at the beginning of the session so don’t despair if the first few shots are not perfect. There is also a little hold sensitivity but not bad. Just grip only on the pistol grip and let the rifle lie on a rest or your hand without grabbing.
The blue laminate is different and beautiful. The gun is quite heavy but it helps stabilize things.
It is not loud at all. Report is not much louder than the shot cycle itself.
Wonderful piece of functional art and engineering.
