Weihrauch HW100X BP

The Weihrauch HW100X BP is an evolution of the well-known HW100 series of PCP air rifles. Thanks to a new aluminium air cylinder, the air rifle delivers a higher number of shots per fill while reducing weight compared to its predecessor. This HW100X BP is the compact bullpup version.

Two main points of improvement were noted regarding the Weihrauch HW100 series over the years: a reduction in weight and an increased cylinder capacity. With the new aluminium cylinder, the Weihrauch HW100X BP offers significant improvement over the older HW100 rifles. In comparison with the old steel cylinders this results in a weight reduction of 360 grams, which is very substantial for an air rifle with a total weight of now just 3.6 kilos. This cylinder also offers a higher filling pressure of 250 bars. The higher filling pressure in combination with a new regulator result in an increase of shot count of at least 50%, according to Weihrauch. As such, the two points of improvement for the older series are both addressed.

Owing to its compact bullpup design, the HW100X BP has a unique appearance. Because the barrel extends all the way up to the buttstock, it has the same length as the standard HW100X S. Despite that, the rifle is 190 mm shorter as a whole. The cheek rest ensures that the shooter can place their eye at the right height behind the scope, to ensure a comfortable shooting position. A vertically- and sideways adjustable butt pad offers optimal control together with the ergonomic pistol grip. Its ease of use is further compounded by an ambidextrous safety lever, which is located on both sides of the Weaver/Picatinny mounting rail. The 2-stage match trigger is naturally of high quality and is adjustable.
