  • The Weihrauch HW57 is an accurate, single-shot under lever air rifle, which features a loading port that pops out as soon as the cocking system is activated. This airgun is of medium weight and balanced very well. Again, a decent product, as expected from Weihrauch. 

    Weihrauch fitted the HW57 with their own ‘Rekord’ trigger, which has two adjustable stages and is blocked by an automatic safety catch. The sight line features a fixed front sight and a removable rear sight that can be adjusted vertically and horizontally. If this isn’t adequate, the 11 mm dovetail that has been machined into the action can accommodate a rifle scope. 

    The sporter stock is made out of beech wood and features a slightly elevated cheek piece and chequering on the pistol grip and forend. A rubber butt plate ensures that the air rifle is firmly fixed to your shoulder and lightly reduces the effect of recoil.

    This rifle has received some negativity, and I read as many reviews and videos as possible. Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives. Some negatives were operator error. I wanted an underlever that was not a beast. I trusted the Weihrauch name and went for it in .177. I am glad I did. So far, so good. You can never know with anything that is mechanical. I am getting good groups with Field Target Trophies and JSB Exacts with no issues. I added a 2 x 7 x 32 Hawke scope to give me as much clearance as possible to access the loading port.

    Supergeweer. Zou alleen keep en korrel duidelijker willen zien. Zoals bij Cometa of Gamo… Vooral voor mensen met minder zicht. Hij is verder echt super. Goed product en een superleverancier. Krale in Staphorst.

    Fantastic little sporter

    Did not get mine from Krale. they were unavailabe last summer, so found two here in the US, tuned. I paid about $150 more each, but considering tuning and shipping cost did ok. They are light weight for an underlever, balanced well well and feel more like a nice high grade rimfire sporter. I have diopter sights on mine and would never think of scoping . I would definetly buy again if I did not have one. I know on some forums they seem to get a lot of bad press, but they are good shooters. Much safer also as your fingers are not inside an open breech for loading.
