Walther Q5 Match SF Vintage

The Walther Q5 Match SF Vintage is a redevelopment based on the steel frame for the Walther Q5 Match, specifically for sport shooting, and features a new sleek and unique appearance. This semi-automatic pistol has a sporty slide with deep grooves at the back for better grip and quicker loading. On the front of the slide, slots are machined for weight reduction and a quick sliding action. The steel frame has the benefit of a significant decrease in blowback due to its increased mass compared to a polymer frame, which makes it very suitable for sport shooting.

This Vintage edition of the Walther Q5 Match SF features an exterior that has been case colour hardened, a heat treating process that was one of the first used to harden the surface of steel. In this historical process the material is enriched with carbon in a granulate of wood, leather and bone charcoal, which is then quenched. This results in oxidised steel with different oxide layers in colours such as brown, yellow, green, blue and even magenta. The surface hardness increases to 45-55 HRC, which protects it from corrosion and wear.

The Dynamic Performance trigger is flat-faced and enables a very smooth trigger action due to its reduced trigger weight, take up, and reset. The Walther Q5 Match SF Vintage pistol features a black LPA rear sight with adjustable windage and elevation, and comes with a Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail and wooden grip panels.
