Umarex HK G95K

The Umarex HK G95K is a replica produced under license, based on the G95K that is used by special forces units of the German Bundeswehr. It sports the same typical colour scheme as the original, with a full-metal receiver and forend.

This replica is an improvement on the HK416 A5, just like its real-life counterpart. Clear differences are the different forend and the greater length of the G95K. Where older variants have forends with Weaver/Picatinny mounting rails all around, the Umarex HK G95K is equipped with a combination of Weaver/Picatinny- and HKey mounting rails. This makes the forend lighter and slimmer, resulting in easier handling. Furthermore, the pistol grip is of a different type, which can be customised in size and shape.

Internally, the G95K replica is considerably different from its predecessor. The split gearbox makes for simpler disassembly and maintenance of the replica. This is because the upper part of the gearbox can be disassembled together with the upper receiver. The process for doing so is quick and easy to do.

Operating the Umarex HK G95K is an ergonomic experience, owing to its ambidextrous design. Just like on its predecessor, the controls can be used both left- and righthanded. The fire selector only rotates 90 degrees total between settings, making it slightly faster to operate. A five-step adjustable buttstock makes the replica easy to adjust in length for different users.
