The Timney Alpha Competition Series for Glock Gen. 5 Red trigger has a fixed pull weight of 3 lbs (1.36 kg) and an extremely crisp operation. This is due in part to the sears being fitted with a Teflon-nickel coating that not only provides maximum corrosion resistance, but is also self-lubricating. This minimises friction and contributes to the trigger’s exceptionally crisp break.

The Timney Alpha Competition Series trigger for the Glock Gen. 5 is only to be used with standard factory Glock pistols. Furthermore, it is designed for competition use only. The trigger blade incorporates the Glock-characteristic trigger safety finished in red.
