The Gate Quantum 1A1 Matt Dark Earth trigger can be seen as the redefinition of the trigger in airsoft replicas. Normally there is a dichotomy between triggers with a micro switch and triggers with an optical sensor, but the latter group is being refined with the arrival of the CNC precision machined aluminium Gate Quantum 1A1.

Where an optical sensor usually works on the principle of whether it is covered or not, the Gate Quantum 1A1 Matt Dark Earth trigger reflects the light, enabling detection of the smallest movement. In this case the trigger has been specifically designed for use with the Gate ASTER V2 optical sensor and this combination can be adjusted from 'I dare not breathe' to 'really blunt'. The first millimetre of the stroke alone has sixty levels of sensitivity! The total stroke has 470 possible levels of adjustment.

The advantage of such a sensitive trigger is that it can be perfectly adjusted. No more free play of a centimetre that affects the accuracy, but a sensitivity exactly as you want it.
