This Vector Optics Forester 1-8x24 VFD-3 – Coyote FDE rifle scope has a housing that is made of anodised 6061-T6 aluminium. This means it can take a hit and that it has excellent corrosion resistance. The rifle scope weighs only 531 grams, which means it will barely weigh down your rifle. It has a tube diameter of 30 mm and it has an objective diameter of only 24 mm. As a result, the rifle scope has a decent light transmission. It has a field-of-view of 35 metres at a distance of 100 metres at minimum magnification. At maximum magnification, it has a field-of-view of 4.9 metres at a distance of 100 metres.

This rifle scope by Vector Optics has a VFD-3 reticle with an illuminated dot and it is located on the second focal plane, meaning the reticle won’t increase in size as you zoom in.
