The Walther Fixlock mount for ZM/VM Zeiss rail fits on the mounting points on top of the Walther RS3. By utilising two quick-detach clips, the mounting system can quickly be removed from the rifle.
As the mounting system consists of a singular piece and fits precisely on the RS3, the point of impact does not shift when removing and reinstalling the Fixlock mounting system. The eye relief can be adjusted, as the Zeiss rail design allows for adjusting the position of the scope on the mount. Because the Fixlock mounting system is quick to detach, multiple mounting systems can be potentially used for a single rifle in order to switch between optics quickly.
