This MDT AICS metal magazine holds 10 rounds of .308 Winchester or 6.5 Creedmoor. The double-stack design with single-feed system makes it more compact than regular single-stack magazines.
The main advantage of this compact design is that it is easier to reload in a prone firing position, for instance. Another advantage is, of course, that the magazine takes up less space.
The steel magazine has been treated with a Cerakote Elite coating on both the inside and outside, making it very corrosion-resistant. This coating also reduces friction between the magazine and the cartridges, which helps the magazine to function smoothly.
