This LCT PKP airsoft replica is a beast of a weapon, which is why we’ll start with the impressive weight of 10220 grams, because it is absolutely a situational replica. That being situations wherein you’ll hidden in the bushes or situations where you’re positioned on top of a hill in a prone position in an overwatch role. All so you can use the bipod that is mounted on the front of the barrel out of the box. It’s not a replica you’ll be using to dart from cover to cover to rain BBs down onto your opponents.
In those regards -the heavy design and its functionality- this LCT PKP airsoft replica looks exactly like its firearm counterpart. Nearly every centimetre of this 1155 mm long replica is copied from the original and you’ll be hard-pressed to distinguish one from the other. The housing is entirely made of steel and the stock is made of synthetic material. There’s a collapsible shoulder rest on the butt pad, which can be used to rest the LCT PKP replica on your shoulder. This means you won’t have to lift the replica’s entire weight with just your shooting hand. They also purposefully chose an open stock, because that allows you to use your offhand to help stabilize the replica.
The pistol-style grip has a rough texture on both sides for added grip. There’s a carry handle on top of the frame, which you can use to hoist the replica should you choose to carry it around with you. Additionally, the carry handle has a secondary function on the firearm counterpart, which is to counter mirages, which are deformations resulting from an overheating barrel. There’s an -adjustable- rear sight and a front sight on the airsoft replica, which can be used to aim just fine. The LCT PKP airsoft replica has a thick and long barrel with 14 mm CCW thread for something like a tracer unit.
There’s an extra motor and battery in the box magazine, which he uses to feed BBs into the replica. The airsoft replica has a magazine capacity which matches its imposing size. The box magazine can be filled with no less than 5000 6 mm BBs. That capacity allows you to keep shooting for a good long while without having to reload. Although reloading can be done easily as well, thanks to the hatch on top of the box magazine. That hatch is big enough to put a large number of BBs through, so you can quickly resume shooting. The LCT PKP airsoft replica has a fully automatic firing mode, which allows you to rain hell down on your opponents.
