Handheld GPS Garmin Alpha 200i K

With the Garmin Alpha 200i K handheld GPS, you track your dogs using inReach technology and tracking collars on a user-friendly system with a capacitive touchscreen of 3.5 inches and six physical buttons. The inReach technology lets you keep in touch with contacts when your network provider lets you down, this does however require an active satellite subscription. Navigation is made easy by loading in Garmin maps and the battery lasts up to 20 hours.

• Follow up to 20 dogs on distances up to 14.5 kilometres with an update frequency of 2.5 seconds
• Look at daily hunting patterns, speed and distance of each dog with a tracking collar
• Six physical buttons, of which some can be assigned to certain actions
• Adjust trainings with 18 stimulation levels for each dog
• Command your dogs with audible tones and tangible vibrations
• Connect with the Garmin Explore app on your compatible smartphone to get real-time tracking information of your dogs on your smartphone, save gathered dog tracks and replay track to see what happened during your hunt
• The compass shows you how far your dogs are removed and in what direction they are, another thing that is displayed is if your dog is ‘treed’ or ‘on point’

Inreach (satellite subscription required)
• Exchange text messages with your contacts, without a mobile phone network
• View weather predictions for your current location
• In case of emergency, trigger an interactive SOS message to the Garmin IERCC, a 24/7 staffed professional emergency response coordination centre
• Track your location, and share it with those at home or out in the field, so they can see your progress or ping your device for your GPS location
• All messages, SOS-alarms and tracking data are transferred through the worldwide Iridium satellite network
