Flashlight Fenix WT25R
This Fenix WT25R flashlight has a rectangular shape with a head that can be canted at an angle of 105°. It allows you to shine a light right there where you need it the most. The steel clip at the rear of the housing can be used to attach the flashlight to your gear or your clothes. It has a magnetic bottom, so you can even attach the flashlight to any metal surface. This allows you to use the Fenix WT25R flashlight in various ways. Even the many light modes add to its versatility. Below, you’ll find an overview of the available light modes (Lumens / battery life / reach / intensity):
• Low: 50 Lumens / 29 hours / 50 metres / 672 candela
• Medium: 150 Lumens / 11 hours / 85 metres / 1877 candela
• High: 400 Lumens / 4 hours 50 min / 145 metres / 5186 candela
• Turbo: 1000 Lumens / 3 hours 40 min / 220 metres / 11905 candela
• Strobe: 1000 Lumens / - / - / -
• SOS: 50 Lumens / - / - / -
The powerful light modes can make the flashlight run pretty hot. That’s why this flashlight has the Overheat Protection System. This system forces the flashlight to switch to a less powerful mode if it heats up to 60°C. After it has cooled down a bit, you’ll be able to choose between the different modes once more.
One button
There’s a relatively large button near the adjustable head, which allows you to easily control all the functions this flashlight has to offer. Keep it pressed in for a short while to turn it on or off, press it once to switch modes or keep it pressed in longer to activate the strobe light mode. Pressing the button twice in quick succession will lock the flashlight, preventing it from being turned on accidentally when it’s in your bag, for instance. The Fenix WT25R flashlight will memorise the light mode you used last and switch straight to that light mode when you turn the flashlight back on.
Waterproof & battery
The housing of this Fenix WT25R flashlight has an IP66 waterproof rating. This means it is entirely dustproof and splashproof. Rain has nothing on this very useful flashlight. It features a rechargeable 18650 li-ion battery, which can be charged by using the USB cable that has a magnetic connection. This means you’ll only have to keep it near the connection on the flashlight itself, allowing the cable to latch onto the housing automatically. Charging the li-ion battery will take about 4.5 hours.
The button has four lights, which can be used to gauge the remaining battery level. Pushing the button once briefly -while the flashlight is turned off- will make it show the remaining battery level. Below, you’ll find an overview of what those lights mean:
• Four lights: 100-80%
• Three lights: 80-60%
• Two lights: 60-40%
• One light: 40-20%
• One blinking light: 20-1%
