Product description
This Casström No. 10 SFK Curly Birch bushcraft knife is quite something, with top quality steel for the blade and a handle made from exceptionally beautiful wood.
Casström has made the full tang blade from Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel, which is a special steel that has the hardness (HRC 57-59), durability and ease of sharpening of carbon steel, added with excellent corrosion resistant properties. In short, the 100 mm long and 3.8 mm thick blade will stay sharp for a long time, while requiring not much maintenance.
The handle of this Casström No. 10 SFK Curly Birch bushcraft knife consists of two scales, made from wood, taken from the curly birch. This curled growing birch can be found in Finland and is sought after for its beautiful woodgrain. The wooden scales have contrasting black liners and the end of the handle features an eye for attaching a lanyard.
We supply the Casström No. 10 SFK Curly Birch bushcraft knife in a sheath, made from 3 mm thick vegetable tanned full-grain leather. The sheath has a draining hole and an extra large belt loop.
