  •  The BSA Comet Evo is an eye-catching addition to the Comet family. The durable and maintenance-free synthetic stock features striking red details that give the Comet a very distinctive character. A rubber pad will give a good grip on your shoulder and the perforated structure very effectively dampens the recoil.

    BSA is well-known for producing quality barrels, and the barrel of the Comet Evo definitely is one of those. The accurate barrel sports adjustable open sights with optic fibres. The bright coloured dots of these give a brilliant contrast, helping you with aiming. Anyone who wants to mount a rifle scope, can do so on the 11 mm dovetail rail that’s machined into the top of the action.

    Very convenient is the safety lever in front of the trigger. Just flick it forward with your trigger finger and the BSA Comet Evo is ready for action. It’s a very intuitive movement with the added advantage of not having to move your hand at all, keeping it perfectly in position.

    Best 'bargain' air rifle in my experience

    My wife gave me this rifle as a Christmas present. It is .177 caliber. It is light recoiling and accurate. There was a minor problem with the rear sight. The mounting screw would work loose from shooting. A little blue loctite on the screw threads fixed the problem.

    Understand, it is a 'bargain' or inexpensive air rifle. The sights are plastic. The trigger is usable, but not crisp. It can be used for accurate shooting. For the price, it is great. If you need an inexpensive and useable air rifle, this is a great choice.

    Great gun for its price.

    Well-built. Powerful. Nice open sights. I can hit a 10x10 cm target at 50 m no problem.

    Rifle is lightweight. Recoil is not very hard.

    Overall, I'm very pleased. Would recommend for its price.
