Skout Airguns has its roots in paintball. The Pennsylvania USA based company has been a leading manufacturer of cutting-edge paintball guns for decades. These inner barrels feature shallow, normal or deep rifling. The electronics of Skout Airguns

They’ve taken it a step further and instead of a hammer to hit the valve, a solenoid valve is used. By operating the (extremely light) trigger, the solenoid valve abruptly opens, giving a short, but powerful burst of air that hits the fire chamber valve (that’s where the air resides that is meant to propel the pellet or slug) like a hammer. Using an electronic system like this, means fewer moving mechanical parts, thus less disturbance in the airgun. Less disturbance, means better accuracy.
