  • Javelin Gen 2 5.5 mm (.218) 21 grain airgun slugs are very well-balanced because of their uniformity and consistent density, which is possible by having been swaged instead of forged. This second generation Javelin slugs underwent some changes to improve performances:

    • Hollow point shape and depth have been redesigned to provide better expansion and weight distribution
    • Meplat has been rounded-off for improved aerodynamics
    • Base has been redesigned for more stability in turbulent conditions
    • Tighter tooling tolerances enforce consistency between batches

    These improvements, the smooth finish and well-thought-out ogive of the Javelin Gen 2 airgun slugs, give them a ballistic coefficient of 0.073.

    Efficient slug

    The Jevelin 21gr works nice at 300m/s. Due the light weight it's needs not much air to get 300m/s, so it results in a good shoot count.

    I am very surprised the slugs don't fear side wind's so much as I thought it would.

    My favorite slug for my 600mm barrel.
