Among the very best
To be clear: much cheaper pistols will result in much higher scores, depending on the shooter. At my level, it's 99% shooter, 1% pistol. But if you care about the finer things in life, and have the dough to spare, this pistol will not disappoint.
The attention to detail and quality is found everywhere on this pistol, with the exception of the lettering on the sides. The lettering looks gaudy and it's plastic lettering with foam backing. That's actually a good thing: 15 minutes with a hair dryer and Goo Gone, and you can make this pistol look gorgeous. A note on the blue anodizing: it's a much deeper and darker blue in person. It looks spectacular. Even the absurdly expensive carbon cylinders look beautiful.
The adjustability of this pistol is outstanding. The 5D grip is excellent, with a soft emery board feel to it. However, the edges of the aluminum volume contour are pretty sharp. I think they could improve that. Speaking of improving, the charging port is now accessible on the left side of the pistol by pressing a metal piece that is held by a strong magnet. The trigger is sublime and very adjustable, sights are excellent and very adjustable, all of the anodizing is excellent... the whole thing just exudes quality.
Ultimately, I wanted a pistol that would draw me to practice and get that extra dry fire session in each week. I found it.
