CZ 457 Varmint .22 WMR

The 457 Varmint, made by CZ, is an excellent choice for sport shooting and hunting due to its solid design and innovative features.

This single shot, bolt action rifle features an American style walnut stock with a varnish finish. A rubber butt pad enables the shooter to shoulder the rifle nicely and partially absorbs recoil. Also, the textured surfaces on the forend and grip provide the user with a firm hold. Furthermore, a rifle sling can be fit to the designated attachment points on the stock.

Its heavy barrel has been cold hammer forged and has a length of 525 mm, with a 1/2x20 UNF thread on which a silencer can be fastened. This barrel has, like all other metal parts of this gun, been treated with a durable anti-corrosion finish to further elongate the lifespan of said parts.

Once this hunting rifle has been cocked, an orange pin appears and disappears after a shot has been fired, this is the Striker Status Indicator, a convenient addition which provides extra safety.

CZ fit this 457 Varmint rifle with an adjustable trigger, the factory setting is 1.2 kg, this can be adjusted from 0.8 to 1.5 kg. Also, trigger travel can be adjusted from 0.5 to 5 mm and an 11 mm Dovetail rail has been machined into the top surface of the receiver, a great spot for a rifle scope.
