Binocular Kahles Helia S 8x42
This Kahles Helia S 8x42 binocular will give you a steady view when handheld. Its 8x magnification is enough to get a good close-up view of objects, without enhancing micro movements of your hands too much. Kahles once more shows it deserves its high-end reputation by using very clear lenses that offer a contrast rich view with an impressive edge sharpness.
A viewing angle of 7.8 degrees (thanks to the magnification, resulting in an apparent viewing angle of 61 degrees) the Kahles Helia S 8x42 binocular has a very wide field of view of 136 metres at a 1000 metres distance. Focussing, by the way, can be done from 3.2 metres onwards, something not a lot of binoculars can do. To be able to make any adjustments to match your own eyesight, the right dioptre has a wide adjustment range of +/- 4 dpt.
The Kahles Helia S 8x42 binocular can be worn with a comfortable neck strap, that is easy to take of with quick release buckles. Its housing is made from magnesium, making it incredibly strong, but also incredibly light. The binocular only weighs 815 grams.
As may be expected from a binocular of this calibre, the Kahles Helia S 8x42 is waterproof and thanks to a nitrogen filling, it won’t fog-up internally when big temperature changes occur.
