The Beretta 92X Performance Optic Dark Series is an evolution of the legendary Beretta 92, specifically designed for competitive shooting such as IPSC Production Division. Like the other pistols in the Beretta 92X Performance range, this enhanced variant features a steel Vertec frame and a heavy Brigadier slide, giving the pistol a substantial unloaded weight of 1395 grams. This relatively high weight reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise, resulting in more accurate follow-up shots. The pistol is also equipped with an Optics-Ready slide and the Xtreme-S trigger mechanism with an exceptionally short reset.
