Beretta 92X Performance Carry Optic

The Beretta 92X Performance Carry Optic is a successor of the legendary Beretta 92, specifically designed for competition use such as the IPSC Production class. The steel Vertec frame and robust slide add quite a lot of weight, resulting in a total weight of 1350 grams. This will reduce recoil and muzzle rise, benefitting the pistol’s accuracy. But the feature that sets this Carry Optic version apart from the regular 92X Performance, is the Optics-Ready slide. You can use that slide to easily mount a mounting base onto the slide, allowing you to use various red dots for the 92X.

Both the slide and the grip feature multiple serrations to provide a secure grip. That is also why the magazine is extra-long with an oversized rubber pad and the Beretta 92X Performance Carry Optic also features an extended beaver tail. Even the ‘match’ takedown lever is designed in such a way that it doubles as a reference point for the second hand. The magazine pin is located on the left side of the frame out of the box, but you can easily mount it on the right side.

The hammer is skeletonised, giving a faster action due to a lower weight and the Extreme-S trigger mechanism offers a nice and low trigger weight. Both the skeletonised hammer and the special trigger ensure you can take shots in rapid succession with the Beretta 92X Performance Carry Optic. The safety is mounted on the frame, instead of on the slide as it was before. The 92X Performance features a fibre optic front sight and it has a fully-adjustable rear sight.
 
This Beretta 92 X Performance Carry Optic is finished with a Nistan coating. That’s a corrosion-resistant alloy of tin and nickel that provides a truly exclusive appearance to this competition pistol.
