Why used airguns are so popular

Buying a second-hand air rifle is an appealing way to get started in airgun shooting or simply to begin enjoying the hobby without a large initial investment. The great thing about used airguns for sale is their incredible variety. We have dozens of used air rifles in stock – in all types, sizes and price ranges – from simple, reliable break-barrels to high-end PCP air rifles and even used competition air rifles. In short: within this part of our webshop, where we offer many kinds of used air rifles, you’ll always find an airgun that matches your needs.

Used air rifles with warranty for sale

The private air rifle market can sometimes be uncertain when it comes to quality. When you buy a second-hand air rifle through a classifieds or marketplace website, there is always a risk that the rifle will not meet your expectations. When you purchase a used air rifle from our dedicated used airgun marketplace, however, it has been carefully inspected by the skilled hands of our in-house experts. Each rifle is tested for proper function and, if needed, fully serviced before being offered for sale. That way, you know you’re buying a reliable used air rifle.

And because our specialists are true professionals, every second-hand air rifle that leaves our shop also comes with a six-month warranty. It’s the kind of peace of mind you won’t get from a private seller. If any hidden issue does arise within those six months, we will take care of it – free of charge. That’s our way of ensuring you enjoy complete confidence with your purchase.

Condition of used airguns

Describing the condition of a used air rifle can be challenging. Every used air rifle may have the occasional small scratch or dent. What you can always rely on, however, is that every air rifle we sell as a used model is in good working order. To give you a clear indication of the cosmetic condition, we use three condition ratings:

  • As new – a used airgun in ‘as new’ condition looks exceptionally tidy. On close inspection, you may notice that it has been used, but in practice it shows little to no signs of wear. In short: very clean and in excellent condition.
  • Good condition – a used airgun in ‘good condition’ shows minimal signs of use. You may notice a small scratch, mark or slight wear, but overall the air rifle remains neat and well cared for. In short: looks good and performs perfectly.
  • Reasonable condition – a used airgun in ‘reasonable condition’ is technically sound but clearly shows signs of regular use. This may include deeper scratches or the occasional dent. In short: not perfect in appearance, but fully functional and reliable.

Trade in your used air rifle

Of course, you can trade in your old air rifle with us when buying another one. It doesn’t matter whether you’re purchasing a brand-new model or a used air rifle. However, because we only want to offer quality products to our customers, we don’t accept every air rifle without assessment. First, we determine whether the model you’re offering is still relevant and in demand within the airgun market. Then, we carefully inspect each rifle for its technical performance and cosmetic condition.

We recommend sending us an email first, including clear photos and a brief description of your air rifle’s condition. Once we have reviewed the details, we will make you an offer. Please bear in mind two important points:

  • We may need to invest workshop time to check and service the rifle.
  • As a retailer, we also need to retain a small margin when reselling the air rifle.

Used airguns with accessories

We are often asked whether we also stock a used air rifle with a scope. Most of the time, people are referring to a rifle scope, and yes – it’s quite common for second-hand air rifles to be offered to us complete with a scope, which we then sell as a full set.

Another great option is to fit a brand-new rifle scope from our shop onto your used air rifle. You can either mount it yourself or have it professionally fitted in our store. For our experts, setting up and zeroing a rifle scope on your second-hand air rifle at the indoor shooting range beneath our premises is a quick and easy job.

Of course, we also offer a wide range of other air rifle accessories such as bipods, slings, red dots, lasers and traditional open sights with bright fibre-optic inserts. When you buy a used air rifle from us, you can also order everything else you need right away, from pellets and targets, to shooting paper and a gun slip or rifle case. In short, when buying a used airgun from Krale, you’ll find the complete airgun range – rifles, optics, accessories and ammunition – all conveniently in one place.
