This Walker’s Ultimate Power Quads Black ear protector ensures you’ll know exactly what’s going on around you. It has four hi-gain omni directional microphones -two per side- which provide excellent situational awareness. Additionally, it amplifies sounds up to nine times. This allows you to register ambient noises from far away as if they’re happening right next to you. The ear protector has a volume button on both cups, so you can easily adjust the volume to a comfortable level for each ear.
Other than amplifying sounds, the ear protector can also compress them. The Walker’s Ultimate Power Quads Black ear protector uses SAC (sound activated compression) to compress loud noises. It does so with a reaction speed of 0.02 seconds, allowing you to maximally protect your hearing. Despite its multifunctionality the ear protector does sport a highly compact design which, once folded, takes up barely any space.
