The Platinum Series Rotary Tumbler delivers a new level of brass cleaning performance. Rotary tumbling with stainless steel media in a liquid bath gets brass much cleaner, and works much faster than ultrasonic or vibratory tumbling methods. The small stainless pins easily penetrate inside cases and into primer pockets to deliver unbeatable cleaning power.
The large volume drum holds up to 1000 pieces of .223 brass and has a molded-in rubber lining to protect brass and dampen noise during operation. A built-in timer in the base can be set to run from 0 to 3 hours, shutting off automatically. The drum features clear end caps to allow visibility to the brass while tumbling. A set of sifting end caps is also included to assist in separating the stainless media once tumbling is complete.
The tumbler can effectively clean without the use of stainless media pins with a mixture of Frankford Brass Cleaning Solution and water (use of media pins ensures primer pockets and inside of cases are perfectly clean). Five pounds of 304 stainless media pins and a sample packet of Frankford Brass Cleaning Solution are included.

The price was the best on the market, so I placed my order. The delivery was super fast via UPS (which unfortunately is not standard for other shooting sports and reloading suppliers). For this alone, thanks to KRALE for working with professional logisticians!
As I had tumbled my brass with a vibrating tumbler and walnut media up to now, I wanted to see the difference between vibration and rotation. I filled the drum three-quarters full with walnut media and about 600 .38 Super Auto cases and let it run for 1 hour. I would say the difference was around 20–30% better!
The parts and drive are very robust and durable. I expect they will do a good job for a long time. OK, the noise is far louder than with a vibrating tumbler, but I’m happy with the purchase.
After cleaning the drum and caps, I am looking forward to the results of the first wet-tumbling sessions.

Great brass cleaning without toxic dust

I ordered the Frankford arsenal wet tumbler from Krale and it was delivered in a few days.
I have previously cleaned my brass with a dry vibrating tumbler. It wouldn't clean the inside of brass, nor the primer pocket. It also left the brass somewhat dusty and some of the media always dropped to the lubing pad, making it dirty. Dry tumbling is also dusty and I didn't want to inhale the toxic dust.
The Frankford wet tumbler cleans the outside, primer pockets and the inside of the brass very effectively. I used the provided sample of Frankford cleaning agent and the pins. I tried to use Fairy hand dishwashing fluid without the pins with brass that still had used primers in it. It was very effective on the outside, but not the on inside, as no pins were used.
With the provided rinsing end caps, pouring off the water is very easy. The manual has good instructions, and following them makes cleaning brass very easy.
I purchased the Frankford stainless steel transfer magnet with the tumbler. It's a must-have accessory. Gathering the pins from the bucket would otherwise be a pain in the ass. With magnet, it's quite easy.
My only complaint is the noise the tumbler makes, but most of it comes from the moving brass, so there's nothing you can do about it.

The Frankford Arsenal Rotary Tumbler is perfect. It takes around 1600 cases / brass 9x19. The finish after 1,5 hour is amazing.
I also own an L.E.M Deluxe, but that can take just around 400 cases/brass in 9x19. So for IPSC, it takes long time to prepare the high amount of cases. Thoigh, the L.E.M is a little faster to clean some primer pockets.
When you compare the price of the L.E.M and the Frankford Rotary Tumbler, my favourite is the Rotary Tumbler. When it comes to large amounts of brass, anyway.
The shipping from Krale is perfect. One day from the Netherlands to Germany by UPS. WOW.
The Transfer Magnet is also a good accessory for handling. Also, the Seperator makes life/work easier.
