Umarex Ruger Mini-14

The Umarex Ruger Mini-14 is a replica of the iconic weapon of choice of ‘The A-Team’, from the TV-series of the same name. This replica is full metal and manufactured with real wood, providing it with an authentic look.

Its most stand-out feature is of course its appearance, with the contrasting stainless finish, black accents and wooden forend. The real Mini-14 was developed as a compact, lighter version of the M14. This not only shows in its choice of calibre (5.56x45 mm versus 7.62x51 mm), but also the folding stock. It can be rotated out to the side and folded fully forward, while the butt plate can also be rotated ninety degrees. As a result, the butt stock can be folded to be parallel with the forend, making for a more compact package.

The GBB system allows for extremely realistic functioning of the replica, including the bolt locking back after the magazine is emptied. These magazines also have a maximum capacity of 30 BB’s, which is equal to the capacity of the real magazine. The paddle magazine release of the Umarex Ruger Mini-14 is located directly behind the magazine, making it easily accessible with either hand.
