It features robust aluminium legs that can be adjusted independently in both length and angle. This tripod is equipped with a ball head whose movement can be controlled using ergonomic knobs. Thanks to the special quick-release plate on the head, the tripod can be used with most Arca Swiss-style mounts.

Manfrotto 494 aluminium Centre Ball Head

The Befree Travel tripod from Manfrotto is equipped with an advanced tripod head that can be operated using three ergonomic knobs. There is a release knob that allows the ball head to move freely, while another knob controls the friction of this movement. This enables you to set how smoothly the ball head moves. The third knob controls the horizontal rotation (panoramic movement) of the tripod head while keeping the ball head locked in position. This allows for very smooth horizontal rotations, ideal for tracking subjects and scanning the surroundings.

Adjustable legs

The legs can be adjusted independently in length and set at three angles for stable positioning, even on uneven terrain. Thanks to the extendable legs, which can be locked steplessly in any desired position, the tripod offers a wide height range. This makes the tripod highly suitable for many shooting scenarios and for both seated and standing shooting positions.
