Lens Cover Blaser B2 Ocular

This Blaser B2 Ocular lens cover does exactly what you’d expect. It protects the Blaser rifle scope’s ocular against dust and debris. There are two lips -one a little to the left and the other to the right- on the lens cover which allow you to open it ambidextrously. You can easily slide it over the eyepiece by loosening the screw just a bit with the tool that comes with the lens cover. After sliding it on, you can easily fasten the screw to clamp the Blaser B2 lens cover onto the rifle scope’s eyepiece.

But there’s something more to this Blaser B2 Ocular lens cover. It comes equipped with the iC (illumination control) function. The lens cover comes supplied with a plate that houses a small magnet, which can be clamped in between two elevated lines on the inside of the cover. The magnet has a small screw, which can be used to secure it in place. This can be done by using the tool you get with the Blaser B2 Ocular lens cover. That magnet will turn on the illuminated reticle as soon as you flip open the lens cover. It will remain illuminated for a few seconds after closing the lens cover, before shutting off completely. This function allows you to preserve your battery. The iC also allows you to keep your hand on the trigger, rather than having to turn on the illumination manually.
