The Caldwell E-Max Pro BT Comms is an electronic ear defender featuring Bluetooth connectivity and a boom microphone. This ear defender allows you to listen to music and communicate with your companions while your hearing is safeguarded against harmful noise. It also features a comfortable, removable headband and is powered either by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery or by three AAA batteries.

Bluetooth connectivity

Thanks to its built-in Bluetooth connectivity, a smartphone can be paired with the Caldwell E-Max Pro BT Comms. This enables you not only to listen to music during shooting sessions, but also to answer phone calls – without having to remove your hearing protection. Your hearing remains protected at all times, whether you are at the range or in other noisy environments.

Communication

The Caldwell E-Max Pro BT Comms is equipped with an integrated two-way radio with 22 channels, allowing users to communicate clearly with one another. The effective range is up to approximately 180 metres. Communication takes place via a boom microphone, which can be attached to either the left or right ear cup. A short microphone (included) can be used instead of the boom microphone to prevent it from obstructing you while shooting.

The Caldwell E-Max Pro BT Comms offers two microphone settings. By selecting ‘Voice Activated’, the microphone switches on automatically when it detects your voice. With the ‘Push-To-Talk’ setting, the PTT button must first be pressed to activate the microphone – ideal when you require maximum control over communication.

Comfortable to wear

This Caldwell ear defender is fitted with a comfortable headband designed to remain comfortable even when wearing a cap. The headband can also be detached from the ear cups, allowing the E-Max Pro BT Comms to be used with a helmet mount.
