The Browning B725 Game with its renewed stock is the most ergonomic incarnation in the well-known B725 series. The receiver has a subtle grey colour, thanks to the nitride treatment that makes the steel more durable with a harder surface and better corrosion resistance. It’s easier to clean too. Ornate engravings go well with the beautiful grain of the grade 3 Turkish walnut stock.
The hinge pin has a significant size, giving it plenty of surface to distribute the forces taken. This does not only enhance the durability, but reduces wear and improves longevity. The locking bolt also has a large surface, making this crucial part incredibly strong and durable.
Just like its family members, the Browning B725 Game has back bored barrels, where the diameter reduces over a larger length, thus giving the wad less friction, resulting in higher speeds. There’s also less distortion of the shot pellets, making for more consistent spread and uniform density.
The Invector DS choke system of the Browning B725 Game is nowadays a given in the B725 series. DS stands for Double Seal and it’s this patented system with brass rings that prevent the choke threads from fouling, making for quick and easy changing of the chokes.
As the Browning B725 Game is aimed for small game, waterfowl and clay shooting, chances are the barrels will get quite warm. That’s why the 6 mm tip rib is vented. It also features a robust brass bead. To lessen the recoil, Browning has used its Inflex II recoil pad, that redirects part of the recoil in such a way that it slightly pushes the stock away from your cheek, while also reducing the upward movement of the gun. By redirecting a part of the recoil, the remaining recoil is reduced.
