Bipod Rome Basis Maximo
This Rome Basis Maximo bipod is the upgraded version of the regular Basis bipod. It’s made of black anodised aluminium with stainless steel screws and it has a weight of only 588 grams. The Basis Maximo bipod by Rome comes equipped with a Quick Mount attachment for a Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail, which means you can easily mount it or take it off.
The Rome Basis Maximo bipod features two length-adjustable legs with rubber feet for added grip. It has a minimum length of 18 cm and a maximum length of 25.5 cm. Additionally, the legs are five-stage adjustable. You can adjust them by pushing the button on the outside of the legs and moving it into the next position. Repeat this step until both legs are set at the desired angle.
Aside from changing the legs’ angle, you can also change the angle of the mount, which in turn allows you to effectively change the angle/cant of the rifle. It’s freely adjustable at an angle of 15 degrees and you can use the lever on the back to either lock it in place or to unlock it. The mount on the Basis Maximo bipod by Rome can also be panned to the left or right at an angle of about 18 degrees. This means you’ll have stability, without sacrificing manoeuvrability.
