BB Grenade Krytac Tornado 3

The Krytac Tornado 3 BB grenade is an improved version of the well-known Tornado 2, previously developed by Airsoft Innovations. It is a cylindrical design, with a pin at the top and a port from whence the BBs are fired on the side, near the bottom of the grenade. The valve for the gas reservoir is located in the bottom. The grenade has an aluminium housing, with protective rubber rings around the top and bottom.

With the adjustable timer the Krytac Tornado 3 BB grenade can be adjusted to suit any situation. By twisting the top, the timer can be set to three different settings: short, medium and long. By pulling the pin the timer is activated, after which the grenade can be thrown. The BBs are propelled from the grenade with gas. When this happens the grenade starts rotating wildly, which causes everything in a circle around the grenade to be hit. This happens with considerable force: the BBs are shot at 100 m/s (330 fps), which amounts to about 1 Joule with 0.20-gram BBs.
