Airbow FX Redback

This FX Redback airbow takes the well-known and proven systems by FX and uses them for an air rifle that can be used to shoot arrows. There are no less than eight barrels on the front of this Redback, which can be used to load a total of eight arrows. Pulling the side lever will rotate the barrels, allowing the next arrow to be shot. To do so with the right power and accuracy, the FX Redback uses a large number of adjustable factors and a 480 cc PCP cylinder located in the stock. There’s a height-adjustable butt plate on the back of the stock, which ensures a proper shooting posture.

Regulator
The FX Redback features an AMP regulator to ensure each and every arrow is shot with the same velocity and it can be adjusted very accurately. It lets you lower the pressure coming from the PCP cylinder -which has a fill pressure of 250 bar- to create the perfect pressure inside the plenum. The Redback features two Wika pressure gauges on the right side of the frame. One shows the regulator’s pressure, while the other’s connected to the 480 cc PCP cylinder.

Quick Tune System
On the left side of the system, the hammer spring preload is adjustable with the famed Quick Tune system. With this, the preload can be adjusted with a macro-adjustment wheel in 23 big steps, after which you can do some finetuning with the micro-adjustment wheel. The more preload, the more air will be let through and the faster the projectile will be propelled.

Quick Set Trigger
Shooting the arrows is done with the Quick Set Trigger found on the FX Redback. This trigger can be moved around in its entirety and both stages are adjustable. As a result, it can be tuned accurately to achieve the best, most consistent results. The trigger blade is height-adjustable and it can be rotated to face the preferred side.

Scope rail
There’s a Weaver/Picatinny scope rail on top of the FX Redback, that’s set at an angle of 60 MOA. The arrows shot by the Redback are slightly heavier than a pellet or slug, which means they’ll curve down faster and have a more curved trajectory. To compensate for this, the barrel will have to be aimed slightly higher to get to those far-away targets. The 60 MOA scope rail allows you to keep the target in your sights, even as the barrel is raised.

Accessory rail
There’s an Arca accessory rail on the bottom of the frame, located beneath the eight barrels, and it even has multiple M-LOK slots. That rail allows you to put whatever accessories you like onto the FX Redback, such as a bipod or tripod or even some weights to better balance it. Speaking of weight: the FX Redback has a weight of 3200 grams and it has a length of 106 cm. The stock is made of impact-resistant synthetic material, same as the ergonomic grip with pre-moulded finger grooves. There’s a rough texture on both sides for added grip.

Please note: the FX Redback does not come with arrows. Make sure to use arrows that are suited for a 9 mm (.35) barrel.
