This AEA SF Standard PCP rifle has an innovative design, which hasn’t been used for airguns before. It features a semi-automatic firing mode -which isn’t all that innovative, considering it’s pretty common-, but you can switch to bolt-action by simply flipping the fire selector. That’s why the abbreviation SF is in its name, which stands for Select Fire. Along with the adjustable power, those two firing modes mean the AEA SF Standard is an adjustable airgun that’ll suit the needs of many shooters. Add to that the fact that the rifle is exceptionally accurate. That’s why the PCP rifle doesn’t have open sights of its own. Instead, it features an 11 mm Dovetail scope rail, which can be used to mount a rifle scope onto the AEA SF Standard that suits its accurate range.
This rifle has a weight of 2400 grams. It has a barrel with a length of 330 mm (13’’) and it has a total length of 889 mm. Transporting and storing the rifle is made more convenient thanks to the foldable stock, which allows you to shorten it to 609 mm. That stock can also be length-adjusted, so you can easily determine and set it at the correct LOP, ensuring you’ll be shooting with the right shooting posture. Additionally, the airgun has an ergonomically designed grip with pre-moulded finger grooves. There’s a rough texture on both sides for added grip.
The PCP cylinder is located right below the 13’’ barrel and it has a capacity of 330 cc and a maximum fill pressure of 310 bar. There’s a Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail located on the bottom of the PCP cylinder, which can be used to mount something like a bipod onto it, to increase its stability while aiming and shooting. Located right next to that rail is the pressure gauge which can be used to check the fill pressure in the regulator. That’s also where you can externally adjust the regulator. There’s a second pressure gauge on the bottom of the fore-end and it can be used to check the remaining fill pressure in the PCP cylinder. The AEA SF Standard is available in the following calibres and magazine capacities:
• 5.5 mm / .22 – capacity of 12
• 6.35 mm / .25 – capacity of 10
• 7.62 mm / .30 – capacity of 9
