Tripod Vanguard Endeavor RL 303CGM Gen. 2 - Carbon

This Vanguard Endeavor RL 303CGM Gen. 2 – Carbon tripod is an extremely stable rest for powerful rifles. Because of its many handy features, this tripod is the ideal companion to bring along into the field. It is versatile and easy to use, offers maximal stability, even for big rifles, and has a durable construction made from carbon fibre.

The great stability of this tripod is due to its three 30 mm carbon fibre legs, which are adjustable in angle and length. For use on many different terrains, the rubber feet can be switched to metal spikes by simply twisting them upwards.

The legs can be adjusted into three angles: 23°, 50° and 80°. When put into the widest angle, the minimal height of the shooting rest is 24 cm. Because the length of the legs is adjustable by means of high quality twist locks, the rest can reach a maximum height of 162 cm. The locks can be twisted quickly and silently and also are easy to clean. Convenient line markings on the legs enable to set the length precisely as needed.

A platform supported by a ball mount on the tripod can be intuitively controlled, and enables a 15° vertical tilt (up and down) and 360° pan movement. Simply twist the handle underneath the platform to unlock adjustment movement and to lock it back into the desired position. Thanks to the comfortable grip on the handle it also functions as a hold for extra stability when shooting. At the bottom of the handle a hook is located to add weight and more stability.

For precise levelling, the platform is provided with a spirit level. A 3/8” thread is located on the platform with which a compatible head can be attached to the tripod. The ball mount provided with the tripod can also be easily removed and replaced for use with different mounts.

The Vanguard Endeavor RL 303CGM Gen. 2 is a complete tripod kit equipped with an Endeavor GM-70 rifle clamp with 3/8” thread and Arca compatible base. This enables to rapidly and securely mount the clamp on the tripod. The inner surfaces of the clamp is provided with moulded rubber for adequate protection of and maximum grip on the gun. By means of a large adjustment wheel the clamp can be opened from 30 mm to 70 mm wide, to fit rifles of nearly all sizes.

Furthermore, it is possible to add a support arm (not included) to the tripod enabled by a 3/8” thread hole on the side. This allows for an accessory to be attached to the arm, for example a GoPro camera or smartphone to capture the shots on video.
