This Epic Airguns Carbon 362C – Knob Head tripod provides a stable platform for aiming, whether you’re doing so with a camera or a rifle. It features an Arca-clamp with a long lever that you can easily mount an Arca adapter onto, thus allowing you to quickly mount or dismount a camera or a rifle. There’s a large knob on the side of the knob head’s housing, that you can use to lock it in place or to unlock it. Once unlocked, you can move the knob head and the ARCA-clamp around freely, providing a wide aiming range. Opposite the big knob, there’s a smaller knob that you can use to lock the knob head in place securely. There’s another rotary knob on the knob head that you can use to lock the horizontal adjustment. All knobs have adjoining markings -located on the outer housing of the knob head- that clearly indicate which way to rotate the knobs in order to lock them. There’s a bubble level on both the tripod itself and on the Arca-clamp that you can use to make sure the tripod is completely evened out. The ring that the knob head is seated in can be removed in its entirety by using the release located on the side of the tripod.

Those sections are kept in place with a practical yet highly effective twist lock system, which can be used to lock or unlock the legs. By using the twist lock system you can easily adjust the legs’ length from 410 mm to 540 mm. There are rubber feet at the ends of the legs that ensure the Epic Airguns Carbon 362C – Knob Head tripod won’t shift around. If you actually do want to reposition it, you can comfortably pick up the tripod by using the rubber section at the top of the front leg. That leg can also be twisted off, so you can use the remaining two legs as a bipod. The legs feature extendable clamps at the top, which allow you to over-extend the three legs.
