Swage Support Die Frankford X-10

This Frankford X-10 swage support die plays a large role in properly swaging the primer hole. That hole is swaged by the swaging pin, that comes up from below with a pull of the lever on the X-10 progressive reloading press by Frankford Arsenal. The swage support die -which can be set in the shell plate- presses down on the casing from above. This means the casing is not just kept down by the reloading press itself, but it’s also kept in place by the downward-moving shell plate and Frankford X-10 swage support die.

The die will primarily be of use to those that utilise multiple shell plates to reload different calibres. Setting up the Frankford X-10 swage support die per calibre takes some time and by mounting a second one in a second shell plate, you can make swapping between calibres considerably easier.

The Frankford X-10 swage support die features standard 7/8”x14 thread.
