Steyr LP50 RF Action

The Steyr LP50 RF Action is a modified Steyr LP50. Most notable is of course the buttstock, which transforms the pistol into a carbine-like airgun.

This stock is mounted to the top of the LP50 using an aluminium bar, which also provides a Weaver/Picatinny mounting rail for an aiming device. At the rear of this bar, an AR-15-style buffer tube is attached. The buttstock is clamped onto this buffer tube and can be adjusted to different lengths. Additionally, the stock also features a QD sling mounting point.

Furthermore, the Action sets itself apart with the threading on the barrel shroud: a suppressor can be attached to this ½” UNF thread. The barrel shroud does not feature a front sight, while the pistol also does not have a rear sight mounted. These are entirely replaced by the Weaver/Picatinny mounting rail.

A sturdy synthetic pistol grip ensures that the shooter maintains a solid grip on the Steyr LP50 RF Action. The pistol grip is suitable for both left- and right-handed shooters and is ergonomically shaped. A beavertail helps to keep the hand at the same height as consistently as possible.

The fully adjustable trigger allows for a high rate of fire, which is further helped by a trigger pull of 450-750 grams. Thanks to the 5-shot magazine, a series of follow-up shots can be fired. This aluminium magazine is loaded into the side of the pistol.
