Shooting Rest Caldwell Lead Sled Max

The Caldwell Lead Sled Max is a versatile shooting rest suitable for weapons of nearly all lengths and calibres. It features an integrated and removable weight reservoir with a capacity of 2 gallon (7.5 litres). It can be used with different kinds of materials, like water or sand. The weight reservoir can hold up to about 16 lbs (7 kg) and 24 lbs (11 kg) of weight, depending on the used material. This way, most of the recoil of even the heaviest calibres is absorbed, as well as extra stability is added to the support.

The front support is adjustable in height and features a clamp that can be tilted. The rear support is provided with a shock absorbing pad for protection of the gun and minimising felt recoil. This rest is also height adjustable using an adjustment wheel. On the rear side another adjustment wheel is located for laterally adjusting the rear shooting rest.

Furthermore, the frame of the shooting rest is length adjustable by means of a sliding mechanism, to ensure a perfect fit for short as well as very long rifles. It also enables the construction to compactly fold up, for easy storage and transportation.

Due to the versatile design of the Lead Sled Max, it can be used in three different ways:

• With weight
• Without weight
• As a single front rest (the rear part can be disconnected)
