The Ruger GP100 Model 1704 is a classic double action revolver in .357 Magnum calibre. The GP100 is a heavy gun, which helps to shoot this ammunition comfortably. Made from a single piece of steel, the frame ensures this gun is as solid as possible. The weight of the frame aids in absorbing the impact of the recoil. A similar effect is caused by the heavy barrel, as the weight of it reduces the muzzle climb after a shot.
A black rubber grip ensures a tight grip on the gun, while also absorbing some of the shock of firing it. The cylinder opens sideways and is secured by a triple-locking system. It can hold six rounds.
