Pocket Knife Spyderco Yojumbo Black
The Spyderco Yojumbo Black pocket knife is a design of Michael Janich, a renowned self-defence expert. It features a flat profile, impressive size and is balanced outstandingly. This large version of the Yojimbo is great for people of larger size, or those that prefer a larger cutting edge.
Its scales are made of well-known G-10: strong, wear-resistant and lightweight, and come with a texturised surface, which ensures a handle that grips very well. The pocket clip – coated black – can be mounted on the knife in any direction: left, right, tip-up or tip-down.
The Wharncliffe blade is hollow-ground and features a black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating and has been manufactured from CPM-S30V, a type of steel that performs well in hardness, easy of sharpening, and edge retention, but stands out in corrosion resistance.
Opening can be done one-handedly with the iconic thumbhole and once opened, the blade is held in place firmly by the compression lock, which is kind of like a liner lock, but is located in the back of the handle.
