Pocket Knife Bestechman Cicada's Wing Wood & Resin Red

The Bestechman Cicada’s Wing Wood & Resin Red is a pocket knife with a slight upward curve in its sheep’s foot blade. Thanks to the axis lock, it can be flipped open and closed rapidly.

With regard to its properties, 10Cr15MoV steel is very similar to the better-known VG-10 steel. This means that the knife maintains its edge, while it can still be sharpened well. This steel is also stainless, making it corrosion-resistant. Thanks to the somewhat curved edge, the knife cuts well in both pushing and pulling cuts. The black blade coating is known as Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC), which has a high hardness and is wear-resistant.

Its handle scales are made of a combination of wood and red resin, which provides the knife with a unique look. At the back, a small hole allows for attaching a lanyard or cord to the knife. This way, the knife can be tied to a wrist or around the neck. It is also equipped with a recessed pocket clip, which can be conveniently swapped to either side using two screws.

The Bestechman Cicada’s Wing Wood & Resin Red pocket knife is straightforward to use, due in part to the axis lock, with which the blade is locked open. This locking method can be disengaged with a small sliding button in the handle, allowing for smooth opening and closing of the knife. The ribbed thumb stud offers the grip on the blade that is required for flipping it open and closed.
