Krytac Barrett REC7

The Krytac Barrett REC7 is a nice and compact airsoft replica, licensed by Barrett Firearms Manufacturing Inc. This full metal replica features a CNC machined handguard with M-LOK slots to mount accessories such as a laser, light or bipod. The Weaver/Picatinny scope rail has pre-mounted, but detachable, low-profile KRISS flip-up sights.

Very convenient is the six-fold extendable stock with extended buttpad. Featuring at the barrel-end is a 14 mm CCW thread with flash hider that can be taken off to mount a moderator or tracer unit. The fire-selector is ambidextrous and the contacts of the CMC flat blade trigger are protected by the integrated MOSFET with heatsink. The hop-up is, as it should be, adjustable.

A lot of attention has gone into the durability of the mechanism. For example, the gearbox has an anti-rust coating and a 8 mm ball bearing is used. The piston is reinforced, while still being kept light to prevent energy loss. Besides that, the cylinder head is padded to absorb impact from the piston to protect the system.

Ease of use has been another focal point when developing the Krytac Barrett REC7. The spring can be changed quickly without the need to disassemble the gearbox. A robust and easy to change automotive fuse is used and the battery connection has a T-plug, while a Tamiya adapter is included.
